About our Speakers: Mak Tarnoff:
Senior Director, Product Marketing, Tendril Mak Tarnoff, a 28-year veteran of the utility industry, focuses on Tendril's product vision and strategy as a foundation for implementing technology solutions to meet customer needs. As a recognized utility subject matter expert, he has held senior management positions providing strategy, marketing and product leadership for companies including GE as the Global Product Line Leader for AMI Solutions, Cellnet, L+G, Hunt, Ampy, Aclara (Distribution Control Systems Inc.), Navigant Consulting, New York State Electric and Gas, and Knoxville Utilities Board. While on the board of directors for the ZigBee® Alliance, Mak guided their present focus on the Utility Industry and the creation of the Smart Energy Profile. Tarnoff earned his Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from Cornell University.
