Nathaniel Sheik

Nathan Sheik is co-founder and CEO of SoftSmiths, Inc., a leading provider of Transaction Management Systems. He has been actively involved in the energy industry for over 15 years and brings extensive experience in all aspects of business operations, software design, development and deployment.

Prior to founding SoftSmiths, Mr. Sheik served as Director of Product Delivery at EnerSoft Corporation, a developer of electronic commerce solutions for the energy industry. Under his leadership, a multi-functional team defined and implemented a real-time electronic trading exchange for the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Mr. Sheik worked as a member of the start-up team for Paranet, Inc., a network management consulting company, where he held various senior technical and management positions. The company was later sold to Sprint.

Previously he held various senior technical, marketing and product development positions in the high-technology companies serving the energy industry.

Mr. Sheik received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Houston Baptist University.
