SAIC to Administer Florida Clean Energy Program

Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) [NYSE: SAI] announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary SAIC Energy, Environment & Infrastructure, LLC was selected by the Florida PACE Funding Agency to provide third-party administration services for the property assessed clean energy (PACE) program for the state. The Florida PACE Funding Agency was created last year to facilitate the implementation, planning, development, funding, financing, marketing and management of a uniform, statewide platform so that counties and cities can easily and economically take advantage of a scalable program for their property-owning constituents.

SAIC will oversee the administration and marketing of the PACE program. It is one of only two such statewide programs designed to encourage property owners to voluntarily seek financing for certain energy efficiency, renewable energy, or wind resistance improvements. SAIC plans to rapidly ramp up the program across the state.
